Required Skills/Experience:

  • Extensive experience with IIS configuration and cloud-based servers.

  • Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues.

  • Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis.

  • Capable of independently working to deliver within a tight schedule, 4+ Experience with programming languages ColdFusion (cfscript vs. tag), JavaScript, SQL and HTML required.

  • Experience in the following also required: CFscript, Coldbox and working with Stored

Procedures.

  • Able to create and modify existing UI with HTML/CSS/JS

  • Proficient in Object Oriented ColdFusion development.

  • Able to write easy-to-read and easy-to-maintain code that is bug-free

  • Entails a passion for coding and always seeking to improve your skills and write quality code

  • Able to accurately estimate project times and ability to deliver them by the deadlines

  • Strong knowledge of writing and working with SQL, previous experience with large datasets is a plus

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working with Lucee as well as ACF

  • Experience working with CommandBox and knowledge of DevOps

  • Experience working with and building Continuous Integration projects

  • Experience setting up and working with a unit testing framework, such as TestBox

  • Experience working with AWS (S3, EC2, VPC, etc.)

Software Knowledge:

  • Required: Office 2019

  • Project Management software (Teamwork, Asana, Assembla, etc.)

  • Google Docs & Spreadsheets

  • Virtual communication tools (Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams)

  • Knowledge of Event Registration systems, Mobile App platforms, & Virtual platforms.

Job Description
We are looking for an outstanding ColdFusion developer to join our growing company. We work with a wide variety of industries and you will get a chance to participate both in internal and external projects. You need to be passionate about the industry and have a strong portfolio to showcase your capabilities before applying. You will work in a very fast paced, fun, and challenging environment where your skills are going to be pushed to their limits.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding of Web development practices, the software development lifecycle, and development in accordance with industry best practices and W3Cstandards.

  • Participate in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle.

  • Develop, maintain, enhance, and support fully functioning applications that comply with client standards.

  • Perform unit testing of all applications developed and/or enhancements to systems.

  • Monitor application efficiencies to identify means of enhancing performance.

  • Work in collaboration with clients to troubleshoot issues and provide professional support for enterprise systems.

  • Work with Quality Assurance team to ensure quality of work produced.

  • Comfortable with maintenance of existing code base, as well as new development.
